System Overview
The SCIEX Triple TOF 6600 is a high-performance quadrupole-time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry (Q-TOF) system developed by AB SCIEX (now SCIEX), which perfectly combines high-resolution accurate mass measurement with rapid scanning capability. The Triple TOF 6600 system is equipped with a third-generation orthogonal acceleration time-of-flight mass analyzer, offering a mass range of 5-40,000 Da, resolution up to 50,000 (FWHM), and mass accuracy <0.5 ppm (with internal standards). Its unique SelexION® differential ion mobility technology provides an additional separation dimension, significantly improving the resolution of isomeric compounds. The system incorporates a Turbo V™ ion source with temperatures up to 750°C, combined with QJet® ion guide technology to ensure efficient ion transmission and stable analysis.
