JEOL/Agilent JSM-Q1050GC/7890A GC/MS System Introduction
System Overview
The JEOL/Agilent JSM-Q1050GC/7890A GC/MS system represents a premium analytical instrument jointly developed by JEOL Ltd. and Agilent Technologies, combining Agilent's 7890A gas chromatograph with JEOL's Q1050GC quadrupole mass spectrometer. This modular-designed system integrates the high-efficiency separation capability of gas chromatography with the high-sensitivity detection advantages of quadrupole mass spectrometry, providing reliable solutions for environmental monitoring, food safety, pharmaceutical analysis, and other fields.
Core Technical Features
The Q1050GC mass spectrometer employs a high-precision quadrupole mass analyzer with a mass range of 10-1050 amu, resolution ≥2.5M (full mass range), and mass stability <0.1 amu/24h. The innovative hyperbolic quadrupole design combined with a digital RF power supply delivers exceptional mass spectrometry performance. The system features an electron impact ion source (EI) with adjustable ionization energy (10-200 eV) and utilizes a secondary electron multiplier (SEM) detector offering a dynamic range of 10^6. The 7890A gas chromatograph incorporates microfluidic control technology, with an oven temperature range of -80°C to 450°C, programmable heating rates of 0.1-120°C/min, and supports Retention Time Locking (RTL) functionality.
System Advantages
- High-sensitivity detection: Detection limits reaching pg level, with signal-to-noise ratio better than 100:1 (1pg octafluoronaphthalene)
- Excellent stability: Mass axis drift <0.1 amu/24h, retention time reproducibility RSD <0.1%
- Intelligent operation: Equipped with MassCenter workstation supporting automatic tuning, method development, and data processing
- Strong expandability: Optional accessories including chemical ionization source (CI), thermal desorption sampling system (TD), etc.
Typical Applications
