Shanghai Yinzhi Scientific Instruments Co., Ltd. ("Yinzhi Instruments"), a comprehensive laboratory service provider, announced today that it has formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Russian scientific research service organization Green Van. This collaboration marks a critical step in Yinzhi Instruments' strategy to deepen its presence in overseas markets and stands as another典型案例 of strengthened Sino-Russian cooperation in the scientific research services sector, building a new bridge for sharing scientific resources and interconnecting technical services between the two countries.

According to reports, the partnership will focus on three core areas: trading of pre-owned analytical instruments, cross-border maintenance and repair services, and technical output for laboratory relocations. As per the agreement, Yinzhi Instruments will utilize Green Van's localized service network to supply Russian research institutions, biopharmaceutical companies, and testing laboratories with pre-owned instruments that have undergone 72 specialized inspections. Core equipment, including Agilent High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems and Thermo Fisher high-resolution mass spectrometers, will be offered at 30%-50% of the price of new machines while meeting performance standards, thereby helping Russian scientific entities reduce costs and improve efficiency.

On the technical services front, Yinzhi Instruments will export its mature equipment maintenance system. The companies will jointly establish a bilingual (Chinese-Russian) technical service team, pooling resources from 14 in-house senior engineers and over 50 partner engineers. This team will provide rapid response services for equipment such as LC-MS and GC-MS, committing to a 3-hour response time for warranty claims and offering replacement machines if issues remain unresolved after 7 business days, directly addressing the industry pain points of "difficult and lengthy repairs" for imported equipment in the Russian market. The partners also plan to jointly establish a cross-border laboratory service demonstration center in Moscow to conduct technical training and equipment certification services.

"Sino-Russian cooperation in scientific research and industry holds broad prospects, and Russia's AI market, valued at $5-7 billion, presents significant opportunities for us," said a representative from Yinzhi Instruments. "Green Van's established presence and channel advantages in the Russian research sector complement our technical service capabilities. This collaboration is not only about exporting our mature full-lifecycle laboratory service model to Russia but also aims for mutual empowerment through resource integration, injecting vitality into Russian scientific innovation through Chinese expertise and services."

"Currently, Russia is accelerating its development in the AI field, leading to growing demand for scientific equipment and professional services," commented a Green Van representative. "Yinzhi Instruments' integrated business ecosystem—combining pre-owned instrument trading, maintenance, and laboratory relocation—is precisely the solution the Russian market needs. We have already reached preliminary agreements with over 20 Russian universities and research institutions. Once implemented, services will be prioritized for institutions like Lomonosov Moscow State University and HSE University, supporting their research breakthroughs in cutting-edge areas like artificial intelligence and the green economy."

This cooperation coincides with a critical period of deepening the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era, giving it distinct contemporary significance. Rector of HSE University, as a prominent Russian academic leader, has previously emphasized that university partnerships between China and Russia significantly contribute to talent development and scientific research, fostering a shared scientific space. The collaboration between Yinzhi Instruments and Green Van represents an industrial application of this vision. Building on equipment supply, the partners plan to gradually expand into joint research, talent exchange, and participation in projects related to Russian AI international alliances, promoting the commercialization of scientific achievements.

Notably, Yinzhi Instruments has tailored a localized strategy for this expansion. Its "New Life for Instruments" platform will launch a Russian version, using AI algorithms to provide precise equipment health scores and Russian-language inspection reports. An innovative "pay-after-success" model will lower the transaction barrier for Russian users. For the core business of laboratory relocation, the company has integrated its existing tiered management system with local Russian regulations to develop specific standards for equipment disassembly, transportation, installation, and commissioning, which have already been certified by the Russian national standards body.

Industry analysts note that the partnership between Yinzhi Instruments and Green Van pioneers a new pathway for the international expansion of Chinese laboratory service enterprises. Against the backdrop of strengthened Sino-Russian policies on educational and technological cooperation, this cross-border "technology + channel" model is replicable. It can not only help Chinese science and technology service companies overcome geographical limitations but also deepen practical cooperation in the scientific research fields between the two nations through service exports, potentially serving as a demonstration model for interconnecting S&T services within the BRICS framework.
