Among numerous plant protection machinery, sprayers are a very common type, playing an important role in disease prevention, pest control, weeding, rodent control and other aspects. Electric sprayers with ultra-large capacity are favored by more and more vegetable farmers due to their convenience in use and high work efficiency, and have now become the main tool for preventing and controlling diseases and pests in greenhouses. ### Working Principle of Electrostatic Electric Sprayer The electrostatic electric sprayer introduces modern electronic technology into the field of plant protection equipment. When the high-pressure pump pumps the liquid medicine from the storage tank to the metal nozzle which serves as both the centrifugal spray head and the high-voltage electrode, the high-speed rotating flywheel crushes it into small droplets by centrifugal force and throws them out of the flywheel. The electrostatic small droplets thrown out of the flywheel directly rush to both the front and back sides of the crops under the action of static electricity and are firmly adsorbed by the crops, thus achieving the purpose of killing insects and pests. ### Which Brand of Pesticide Sprayer is Good? - **Mengrouju 16L Sprayer Kettle** Mengrouju 16L sprayer kettle adopts a thickened barrel body, suitable for disinfection and gardening purposes. It adopts bottom heat dissipation and thickened explosion-proof design to ensure safety. A variety of advantageous functions make it the best choice for fruit tree spraying. The high performance and portability of Lanyi 2022 new electric sprayer have been highly praised by users. ### What is the Pressure of a Pesticide Sprayer? The pressure of a pesticide sprayer is generally 2-5 kg/cm². The reason is that in the process of applying pesticides, it is necessary to spray the pesticides evenly on crops through the sprayer, and pressure is one of the important factors affecting the spray volume. Different models of sprayers with different nozzles have certain working pressure requirements. Practice has proved that there are certain relationships between pressure and flow rate, pressure and spray cone angle, and pressure and spray width. The general rule is: as pressure rises, the flow rate, spray cone angle, and single-nozzle spray width increase; when the pressure rises to a certain value, the flow rate, spray cone angle, and spray width no longer change. The working pressure for liquid spraying operations is preferably 0.3-0.5 MPa. If a fan-shaped nozzle is used, a pressure of 0.3 MPa is sufficient for operation; if a conical nozzle is used, a pressure of 0.3-0.5 MPa is appropriate. If the nozzle is equipped with an anti-dripping device, the working pressure should be increased accordingly to ensure the spraying quality. Excessively high pressure may damage the rubber hose and cause leakage at pipe connections; excessively low pressure cannot guarantee the spraying quality. ### Installation Method of Pesticide Sprayer Nozzle The nozzle should be installed on the spray boom first, and then on the sprayer. Fan-shaped nozzles installed on the spray boom should not be installed at zero degrees; instead, they should be tilted slightly at an angle of 8-9 degrees. This can avoid direct collision of sprays from adjacent nozzles, thereby preventing the formation of large fog droplets which would reduce the pesticide effect. There is no need to worry about how to adjust to 8 or 9 degrees, because the grooves of the nozzle caps are pre-made now. As long as you fix the nozzle on the nozzle body according to the regulations, the angle of 8 or 9 degrees will be formed. ### Use of Electric Sprayer Since the power source of electric sprayers is mainly electricity, attention should be paid to battery protection during use. Generally, after purchasing the machine, it should be charged immediately, because the battery is not fully charged at the factory, only with a small amount of electricity. Therefore, the machine should be charged immediately after purchase and can be used only after being fully charged. Now, the battery is equipped with a protection circuit, which will automatically stop charging after being fully charged to avoid damage caused by overcharging. Generally, charging takes about 8 hours. With the development of battery technology, the charging time will become shorter and shorter. A dedicated charger provided with the machine must be used for charging. Most sprayers are equipped with red and green indicator lights: the red light indicates that charging is in progress, and the green light indicates that the battery is fully charged. Specifications vary among different manufacturers; some may require continuing charging for 1-2 hours even after the green light is on to fully charge the battery, which can be operated according to the instruction manual. After completing the spraying operation with the electric sprayer, it should be charged immediately to keep the battery fully charged, which is beneficial to prolonging the battery life. Similarly, if the sprayer is not used for a long time, it should be charged once every 2-3 months to maintain the normal state of the battery. When preparing the liquid medicine during spraying operations, clean water must be used. Do not use river water for preparing the liquid to avoid impurities in the water blocking the water pump. When adding medicine, the filter provided with the machine should also be used to filter out impurities mixed in the liquid medicine and undissolved particles. Since electric sprayers have many wires for power supply, it is strictly forbidden to immerse the machine in water or rinse it with water during use. If the machine is dirty, it needs to be wiped with a cloth; if there is dust, it can be blown clean with a hair dryer. After daily spraying operations, clean water should be used for spraying for a few minutes to clean the residual liquid medicine in the water pump, so as to avoid failures such as inability to absorb water or reduced pressure caused by blockage of the water pump and pipelines.
